This has been going on for nearly 2000 years. Let us continue to build each other up in our most holy faith, keeping our eyes upward and our minds on things above. Those who are drawn to Christ will find him, for He finds all of His lost sheep.

But these men are not open to dialogue, only ridicule and persecution. Indeed, their knowledge puffs them up, and they will only continue to try and put us to shame with their tests, their questions and their fine sounding arguments. Let us be like sheep and remain silent and dumb.

Brothers and sisters, the Son of Man is coming--let no man tell you otherwise--and when He is revealed from the heavens with power and glory, our hope and vindication will be made manifest. Keep your eyes on the shepherd of your souls.

Grace and peace...pilgrimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05335724722429946238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5246253500962288290.post-63589584618449187182008-04-06T10:30:00.000-04:002008-04-06T10:30:00.000-04:00Mr. X, biblical literalists believe the Noah story...Mr. X, biblical literalists believe the Noah story because they believe god can do anything, therefore even if the story seems unrealistic to us, it is because we cannot comprehend god.Tommykeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14751182125861177379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5246253500962288290.post-86357604200156933392008-04-06T08:19:00.000-04:002008-04-06T08:19:00.000-04:00But this is the internet, and you're anonymous, so...But this is the internet, and you're anonymous, so who's to say I'm a lower form of life?MR. Those were more localized, great floods (not global) and involved a great king that was able to ride out the floods on a raft with some of his livestock. As with so many other myths, this one got re-used and modified to fit the new religious people on the block.GCThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09744295225958022872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5246253500962288290.post-39076570390356418152008-04-05T16:56:00.000-04:002008-04-05T16:56:00.000-04:00Thanks David:I'm not really a militant guy as such...Thanks David:

I'm not really a militant guy as such, I just thought it'd be quite interesting to initiate discussions with people on philosophy. My name is David, I'm from England and training to be a Catholic Priest..

I may if it is ok with you, comment on your blog from time to time.

That you don't believe in God is fair enough... that you feel strongly enough about this to write a blog, especially one with such an extreme title makes me wonder what is going on. I personally don't believe in horoscopes, occasionally if I meet someone who does I may debate with them... usually I don't bother. It would certainly not occur to me to write a whole blog designed to disprove them. I wonder then if you could shed any light on why you have decided to write this Blog?

Cheers,

DavidDavid Palmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10480967226190816519noreply@blogger.com
