Allah at the Gates

When a Xian dies and goes to heaven to stand in front of....Allah, what will she say?

Allah may say, "You had all the evidence you needed to choose to believe in me, so I'm banishing you to hell for your choice to not believe. Suffer eternally for your bad choices, you vile infidel."

Would the Xians here find this to be fair, just, etc? Would you all shrug your shoulders and say, "Oh well, I chose to believe wrong and I guess I deserve hell for it?"

Their ignorance, arrogance, and idiotic 'my god is better than your god' prejudices prevent any such preponderances.

Indeed. I'd wager you won't get the kind of replies you might be hoping for.

Unless you're hoping for "But the bible IS the true word of god and the koran isn't!"

At the risk of being a lightweight and not even addressing the real issue here - I must admit that I'm quite impressed with the photos you manage to find GCT. The one with this post does illustrate your thoughts really well.

Ah yes, look at all those revivals led by the man of Allah reading from the Koran. Look at all the lives changed for the better out of the wisdom of the Koran. I would that ol' Elijah was still around. He was good at handling the false god promoters like you.

Yes, Paul, you never see declarations like that coming from any religion other than Christianity.

Thanks Tracy, I do try and pick pictures that others will enjoy (and hopefully laugh about).

Paul,
Elijah, eh? Wow.

Either way, what would you do if Allah were the one you met after you die? And, I'm an atheist, so I'm not promoting any gods. I'm simply asking a question, which you obviously don't want to answer.

Look outside your culture and you might be surprised by what you find.

Religion is very ethnocentric, so you may feel that there is no way you're wrong and no-one feels about their (other) religion the way you and other christians feel about yours.

Culture shock is having an emotional response to a difference in culture, so you may have an emotional response to find out that muslims feel the same way about islam that you feel about christianity! Whether they really are "mislead by the devil" or not, they think the same thing about you.

I know, right! Almost makes a simpleton think the god of Abraham really does exist!

Still waiting on the Muslim revival evidence.

How's the world's fastest growing religion for a revival? It's not 300 already-believing hicks in a tent...instead it's larger number of people who believed something else in a world. Then they go to Mecha, which from what I understand has giant robots or something!

It should be noted, however, that Islam is bunk, too.

You're not much into reading, are ya Paul.

Islam changed rapper "Loon" from "Bad Boy" to "good guy". Loon changed his life & name. He now goes by Amir Junaid Muhadith. In his own words:

“[I’m] happy to be accepting Islam, and finding the peace of mind I was always searching for in the music business…Thanks to Islam I was able to complete my search and now I’m very much at peace. Bad Boy days are over, I’m now what you call a good boy.”

So, Falwell would be out. Loon would be in.

Personally, I think they're all nuts.

Speaking of revival, not individual experience. Like those of D.L. Moody.

Hey, Paul, we're all still waiting for the evidence of Xianity. Even if Xianity were unique in what its adherents said about it (it isn't), how would that make it true?
